the voyage

a series of artist residencies based at art in the docks space starting on february 15th 2021 and running for the duration of lockdown. 

At a time when we are physically unable to change location, the members of art in the docks collective invite you join them on a voyage.

Every week a different artist will embark on a creative journey in the art in the docks’ space.  You can accompany them, either by observing them through the windows of the space, if you live locally, or via social media if you do not. The voyage will be as varied as the members of the collective.  

At the end of each week, the artist will vacate the space but will leave behind a memento of their voyage.

The more prolonged the lockdown, the longer the voyage and the greater the accumulation of mementos. 

As soon as travelling and gathering in the real word is allowed, art in the docks will welcome everyone into the space to view the mementos and reminisce about the voyage.
