Spirit of Citizenship Programme Launch

Art in the Docks is delighted to announce the launch of the Spirit of Citizenship programme. This exciting visual and theatre-based arts programme is themed around social justice. It will be delivered in partnership with a consortium of Royal Docks area primary schools.

Participating schools include Drew Primary School, Britannia Village Primary School, Winsor Primary School and Gallions Primary School. Between them, these schools provide early-stage education for more than 2000 local children.

Drew Primary School is always looking for meaningful experiences that enrich, engage and extend children’s learning further, to influence how they see themselves in the world. This project will do exactly that. A partnership between Drew Primary School and Art in the Docks will definitely support our children in their learning, strengthening our motto: Learning today for tomorrow’s world.
— Mrs Julie Clancy, Deputy Headteacher, Drew Primary School

The programme is being delivered by Art in the Docks, supported by Royal Docks Trust as part of its continued commitment to community-oriented projects that directly benefit Royal Docks residents.
